Training Day 1

The EmailonSteroids (EMOS) is an innovative system designed to
help you supercharge your marketing efforts in a simple,
yet extremely powerful manner.

It is very simple to use and over the course of the next
several weeks, we will be sending you a series of training
messages to fully educate you on the features of the EmailonSteroids
(EMOS) Autoresponse System and give you some ideas on
how you can use it in your business.

First, lets start with the very basic definition of what
EmailonSteroids (EMOS) is so everyone has a good basic
understanding of what this system is and what it can do for
you.

An autoresponder is a message delivery system. Much like
the post office delivers letters to your mailbox, an
autoresponder system delivers E-Letters to your E-mailbox.

A multiple response autoresponse system like the
EmailonSteroids (EMOS)system can be compared to getting several
catalogs from your favorite mail order company.
Periodically, they will send you a new catalog or offer to
get you to buy something and that is exactly how this
system works for you.

By programming in your response sequence (whether it be a
series of sales letters or a training program like this
series is), you can be assured that each prospect/customer
you put into your autoresponder system will get your
letters in the sequence and in the timing specificed by
you.

If you are wondering why you might want to send more than
one sales letter to a prospect, consider your own life. If
you watch TV (and most of us do), we tend to ignore the
commercials but even while ignoring them, some that are
repeated over and over again do sink into our minds and
eventually catch our attention.

You want to accomplish the same thing with your message
sequence. By sending a prospect a series of messages, you
penetrate the "advertising wall of fog" that surrounds all
of us and eventually get your message looked at.

In fact, marketing studies for the direct mail business
show that 7 or more follow-ups with a prospect can still
generate profits because of this "fog". And that is with
absorbing the cost of printing and postage.

In the online world (where there is no printing and postage
costs), it is very common to be making sales to prospects
after sending 12, 15 and even 20 follow-up messages to
their initial request for information.

And that is the true beauty of EmailonSteroids (EMOS). All of this
is automated for you. Once you program in your message
sequences (to be discussed in the next email ,you can literally
forget about your system. Just funnel prospects to your autoresponder
email address or signup form and let the EmailonSteroids (EMOS) do
all the work for you.

Now, lets get those feature lists spelled out for you so
you know exactly what comes with your account.

To setup your account, these functions should be perfomed
first (and are what the initial tutorials will discuss.)

* Setup / Edit Autoresponder Messsage Sequence - You can
have up to 20 follow-up messages in your message sequence.
Messages can be in text or html format.

*Set *From:* E-Mail Address - This is the email address
that will appear in the "From" line of all the emails that
get sent out. It will be where customers can reply directly
to you from the email.

*Set-up Thank you page - This allows you to set up a thank
you page that will be seen by visitors who sign up for your
autoresponder by filling out a web based form.

*Edit E-Mail Reject Filter - Sometimes you just don't want
to be bothered by people signing up from free accounts or
certain domains. This feature lets you reject those
signups.

*Set E-Mail Auto-Remove Choices - This lets you define if
and/or when you want remove links placed in your outgoing
messages.

*E-Mail Personalization Settings - This tells if you want
the system to customize your emails with names and other
details. For instance, your first name is ~~NAME~~

*Set E-Mail Message Header/Footer - This allows you to
place a standard message header and footer in all your
email messages.

Change Personal Account Information

*Change Password - This allows you to change your login
password

*Edit Autoresponder Owner Record - This allows you to edit
aspects of your autoresponder owner record. This is the
record you created when you signed up for the system.

Manage Your List

*Manually Add E-Mail Address - This feature allows you to
add one email address to your autoresponder sequence.

*Manually Send Message to List - This feature allows you to
send a message to your entire list (or parts of your list)
any time you want (i.e. outside of the normal autoresponder
sequence - with no impact on the sequence.)

*Manually Delete E-Mail Address - This allows you to delete
a customer email address from the system.

*Change Subscriber Email Address - This allows you to
change a subscriber's email address. This feature is great
if a customer moves to a new email account and informs you
he still wants to receive the rest of your messages.

Import & Export Your Email List

*Import E-Mail List Data - allows you to import a list of
email addresses into the system.

*Export E-Mail List Data - This allows you to export your
list of email addresses for use by other systems or for
archival on your PC.

Generate Report & Signup Forms

*Generate Report (about your list) - This will tell you
what is happening on your list; how many subscribers you
have, when people removed themselves from your list, etc.

*Generate Customer Sign-up Form - This allows you to design
a web based custmer sign-up form that you can add to your
web site. You may need to change its look a bit to fit your
web site but it does all the form code for you.

New Features

*URL Tracking - Allows you to track the results of your
advertising both within EmailonSteroids (EMOS) messages and
anywhere else on the web.

*Test Message Sequence - This allows you to send all your
programmed follow-up messages to your mailbox any time you
want to see how they look.

*New Owner Control Panel - This allows you to create a
control panel you can keep right on your PC to perform
several basic EmailonSteroids (EMOS) functions without coming to
the EmailonSteroids web site.

Advanced User Functions
Demographic Sorting / generating

*Set-Up Demographic Collection Dataset - This allows you to
set up a series of demographics questions you may want to
ask your customers. It works in conjunction with the
"Generate Customer Sign-up Form" function above.

*Demographically Export E-Mail List - Allows you to export
subsections of your mailing list based on demograpic
related responses your customer's offered when filling out
your web-based customer sign-up form.

*Demographically Contact E-Mail List - Allows you to
contact subsections of your mailing list based on
demograpic related responses your customer's offered when
filling out your web-based customer sign-up form.

*Log Off Administration System - This will log you off the
system and shut down access by anyone else who might use
your PC after you.

each of these features to help you get the most out of your
EmailonSteroids (EMOS).
